ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NATURAL FAIRNESS

1. HOW DOES THE NIVEA NATURAL FAIRNESS BODY LOTION WORK?
The innovative formula of NIVEA Natural Fairness Body Lotion gives the desired benefits via combined effect of the active ingredients. It works through two mechanisms:
i) Skin Lightening by reducing or inhibiting overall skin pigmentation. Active ingredients added to the formula (licorice extract and Octadecenedioic acid) are known to facilitate skin lightening by acting on the melanin producing enzyme, tyrosinase.
ii) UV protection – The sunscreens added to the formula help in maintaining skin colour by protecting skin from harsh UV rays thus protecting the skin from hyperpigmentation and future skin darkening.

2. HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO USE NATURAL FAIRNESS TO SEE FIRST RESULTS?
When applied regularly, after 1 month, the skin treated with Natural Fairness becomes significantly lighter than before. For best results we recommend applying it twice a day smoothing gently all over the body.

3. I HAVE THE FEELING THAT MY SKIN BECOMES DARKER AFTER USING NIVEA NATURAL FAIRNESS, HOW COME?
NIVEA Natural Fairness contains extracts of natural ingredients. If you have used products containing bleaching agents before the start of Nivea Natural Fairness, the skin may appear as if it is getting darker because the bleaching has stopped. The darkening of the skin is not a result of using Natural fairness, as Nivea Natural fairness is made using an innovative formula with liquorice and berry extracts that gives the skin even-toned fairness, reduces dark pigmentation and protects the skin from the sun with UV filters.

4. WHY IS THE PRODUCT CALLED "NATURAL" FAIRNESS?
NIVEA Natural fairness contains extracts of natural ingredients. This is to say that the actives in NIVEA Natural Fairness Body Lotion work in a natural way by reducing the production of melanin within the skin. While the actives added to the formula are known to inhibit melanin producing enzymes, the sunscreens inhibit further damage to the skin and reduce excess melanin production.

5. DO I GET AN INSTANT WHITENING EFFECT FROM NIVEA NATURAL FAIRNESS BODY LOTION?
NIVEA Natural Fairness body lotion is made using an innovative formula with liquorice and berry extracts that gives the skin even-toned fairness, reduces dark pigmentation and protects the skin from the sun with UV filters. Therefore, Natural Fairness is not designed to bleach your skin but to make it smooth and naturally fairer.

6. DOES THE PRODUCT CONTAIN HYDROQUINONE OR ANY OTHER BLEACHING INGREDIENTS AND IS IT HARMFUL LONG-TERM?
No, the products does not contain any ingredients that bleach the skin or bring about fairness in harsh or harmful ways. NIVEA Natural Fairness Body Lotion works in a natural way. Moreover the skin compatibility is dermatologically proven. Therefore it is absolutely safe to use the product on a long-term basis.

7. DO I HAVE TO USE NATURAL FAIRNESS IN ADDITION TO MY REGULAR BODY LOTION?
It depends on your skin type. The product Natural Fairness contains Glycerin and other emollients, both ingredients that provide intensive moisturization for smooth skin. Therefore if you have normal skin type there is no need to use additional lotions / oils. However if you have a very dry skin you might want to try NIVEA Natural Fairness Face&Body cream for a richer skin feeling or alternatively use a richer textured body lotion additionally, for example NIVEA Nourishing Body Lotion.
